A Comprehensive Design Solution for an Engaging Outdoor Activity

As a graphic designer, I was excited to work on the Story Stroll Kits project for the Georgia Public Library System and create for my local community. This project involved creating a comprehensive design solution for an engaging outdoor activity that combines literacy, exercise, and nature for families in the community.

The goal of the project was to provide public libraries in Georgia with Story Stroll Kits that would be easy to use and enjoyable for families. The kits consist of 12 books with each book spread being featured on one panel, along with a QR code link to access the audio version. I was responsible for designing the panels and ensuring that the scans of the books were seamlessly mended to create a cohesive book spread.

To ensure that the design of the Story Stroll Kits was engaging and visually appealing, I drew inspiration from the GPLS branding. The color palette and design elements were carefully selected to complement the outdoor environment and create an immersive experience for families.

Throughout the project, I focused on striking a balance between addressing immediate needs and delivering on long-term goals. I worked closely with the team to ensure that the design of the kits was user-friendly, easy to transport, and durable for outdoor use.

As a result of our hard work, the Georgia Public Library System now has a comprehensive design solution for the Story Stroll Kits that is visually stunning and easy to use. We believe that by providing engaging outdoor activities for families, we are promoting literacy, exercise, and nature appreciation for all ages.

In conclusion, I am proud to have contributed my design skills to this project and to have played a role in creating an engaging and enjoyable experience for families in Georgia. I look forward to seeing the positive impact that these Story Stroll Kits will have on the local community.
