More than a logo. A brand your organization can actually use.

Brand Systems and Implementation

A complete visual identity system for organizations that need to communicate clearly across departments, programs, publications, presentations, print and digital platforms.

Your organization may already have a logo. That does not always mean you have a usable brand.

The logo lives in several folders. Different departments use different versions. Presentations, reports, event materials and social graphics have slowly drifted apart. Fonts that worked in one format create problems in another. New staff members are forced to guess what is correct, and outside vendors receive whatever files someone can find.

The result is not merely visual inconsistency.

It creates more work for the communications lead who has to:

• Track down current logos and approve one off interpretations.

• Correct colors, typography and layouts after materials have already been created.

• Explain the brand differently to every department, printer, developer and outside partner.

• Protect the organization’s credibility while internal teams work from incomplete guidance.

• Rebuild the same visual decisions every time a new communication piece is needed.

• Watch a carefully approved identity become less recognizable with every new application.

A logo can be beautiful and still leave the organization without a system.

Your team should not need the original designer in the room every time someone creates a report cover, presentation, sign or digital graphic.

A strong identity should make communication easier. It should give staff enough structure to stay consistent while still allowing the organization to grow, respond and create new materials.

That is why Brand Systems and Implementation is built around more than a logo reveal. We consider the real places the identity must function, the people who will use it and the production details that determine whether it survives beyond the presentation.

“Veridian Design makes my life easy. When I hand over a project, I know it will come back quickly and look great. From newsletters to program reports to brochures, I trust Veridian implicitly.”

The logo is only the beginning.

Meet Brand Systems and Implementation.

This is a complete visual identity engagement for established organizations, nonprofits, institutions and growing teams that need a brand people can recognize and use consistently.

We work with organizations that are:

Creating a new identity for an established mission, program or organization.

Tired of recreating visual decisions every time a new piece is needed.

Updating an identity that no longer reflects who they have become.

Bringing disconnected departments, programs or locations into a clearer visual system.

Ready to invest in a practical system rather than another isolated logo file.

Together, we build the identity, test it in the real world and organize the tools your team needs to communicate with one recognizable voice.

Preparing for leadership change, growth, a new public initiative or a more visible stage.

IF YOU’RE READY TO:

01

Give your organization an identity that reflects the quality and maturity of its work.

02

Replace scattered logo files and inconsistent materials with on clear visual system.

03

Help departments and outside partners understand how the brand should be used.

04

Choose typography and color that works across print, digital, presentations and long form documents.

The goal is not only to approve a stronger identity. It is to give the organization a brand it can actually put to work.

Create a visual world that extends beyond placing the logo on everything.

05

Launch with useful materials instead of handing the implementation problem back to your team.

06

Protect the organization’s visual consistency as staff, vendors and communication needs change.

What To Expect

Every Brand Systems and Implementation engagement is custom scoped around the organization, audience, existing identity, approval structure and the places the new brand must function.

A full engagement may include:

  • Primary logo

  • Secondary logo arrangements

  • Brand marks

  • Custom illustrations or graphic elements

  • Patterns and backgrounds

  • Primary, secondary and supporting color systems

  • Font pairings

  • Image direction

  • Detailed brand guidelines

  • Organized print and digital logo files

  • A Brand Implementation Library

The identity is tested across practical situations such as small and large scale use, black and white reproduction, publications, presentations, signs, templates, digital communication and materials created by staff or outside vendors.

Application mockups help stakeholders understand the system in context. Production ready versions of those materials are included only when they are specifically listed in the project scope.

Hi, I’m Mackenzie, Senior Designer and project lead at Veridian Design Group.

For more than 30 years, Veridian has helped institutions, nonprofits and purpose driven organizations communicate clearly through identity systems, publications, campaigns and print materials that have to work in the real world.

Our publication and production experience shapes the way we approach branding. We do not choose a typeface only because it looks good in a logo. We consider how it behaves in a report, on a sign, inside a presentation, on a phone screen and in the hands of the people who will use it every day.

That broader perspective helps us create identities that remain recognizable across many applications without becoming rigid, difficult or dependent on one designer.

Identity work across Georgia’s public library ecosystem has included Georgia Public Library Service, PINES, eRead Kids, Georgia Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, Troup Harris Regional Library and 1000 Books Before Kindergarten.

Those projects required us to understand how distinct services and audiences could each communicate clearly while operating within a larger public library environment.

Additional identity work has included The Norton Group, Long Blue Line Magazine, Society of Georgia Archivists and HM Plumbing.
